Hearts of Oak midfielder Glid Otanga has departed Ghana for Congo ahead of his impending transfer to a Qatari second-tier club.
The 22-year-old Congolese player traveled from Accra on Saturday, July 13, 2024, to finalize the necessary paperwork before heading to Qatar.
According to reports by Ghanasportspage.com, the Phobians have agreed on an undisclosed transfer fee with the Qatari side.
Otanga’s contract with Hearts is set to expire in August 2024, and he has opted not to extend his stay.
Otanga had stints with Akonangui FC in Equatorial Guinea and Coton Sport FC de Garoua in Cameroon.
