Guinness Ghana to organize capacity building workshop for Women Premier League Clubs

Official sponsors of the Women’s Premier League, Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC, producers of Malta Guinness will be organizing a one-day capacity building workshop on Wednesday June 26th,2024 for all participating clubs in the just ended 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Season.

The workshop is to enlighten a select session of players from all twenty clubs in the Northern and Southern Zone on social media and Personal Branding, Life after Football, Public Speaking and Introduction to Learning for Life.

Also expected to grace the occasion are some former players and key stakeholders in the women football industry .

Resource persons billed for the day include Head of Public relations and Strategy of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Neil Armstrong Mortagbe who will deliver keynote addresses on public speaking to participants.

Former Black Queens defender, Mercy Tagoe who serves as the current head coach of the Women’s National U-23 side and Women’s division one side, Oak FC will also take players through Life after Football.

Social media expert, Abena N. Chrappah will take participants through social media and Personal branding while other Speakers include, Head of Business development for the GFA, Mrs. Janice Odonkor and Madam Lynessa Darko.

Participants will also have the privilege to tour the Guinness Brewery facility and will be taken through some safety and related activities by Mr. Felix Amediku.

Malta Guinness is Ghana’s leading beverage and is produced by Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC. The company recently launched the clear bottle made up of 30% recycled material and aligns with Guinness Ghana’s aim to ensure zero waste to landfill for its own operations and zero waste to landfill across its supply chain.
