Arsenal have agreed on personal terms with Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian has strongly been linked with a move to the Emirates as manager Mikel Arteta looks for a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette who will be leaving the club at the end of the month.

According to The Sun, Arsenal were planning to almost double Jesus’ wages, offering him around £190,000 a week plus bonuses with the two clubs now set to agree on the transfer fee for the player.
Arteta is believed to be after the player due to his versatility in attack. Jesus is capable of playing on the wing or as a striker through the middle. Europa League qualification means that the North London club requires a proper squad depth after finishing fifth last season where they didn’t have any stress of competing in a lot of games.

Jesus wants to leave City as his chances of playing next season were diminished following the signing of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
