The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted approval for the Parliament of Ghana to organise the inaugural “Democracy Cup” match scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024, at 6 p.m.

Premier League giants Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak SC have given their consent and will battle each other in the Democracy Cup match, which will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The match is being organised in commemoration of thirty years of parliamentary democracy in Ghana.

The GFA wishes to congratulate the Parliament of Ghana for entrenching our democracy and supporting football development in the country.
