Winger Osman Bukari finally joined Black Stars squad in preparation for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR).
Bukari, who recently made the switch from Serbian powerhouse Red Star Belgrade to Major League Soccer’s Austin FC, missed the initial training session on Friday due to his recent transfer.

With his arrival, all but one of the 26 invited players are now present, with defender Alexander Djiku being the sole absentee.
Djiku, currently playing for Fenerbahce, is anticipated to link up with the team later due to an arm injury he sustained while representing his club.
Training for the Black Stars will continue on Saturday, June 1st, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The team is gearing up for their upcoming matches, travelling next week to take on Mali on June 6th, followed by hosting the Central African Republic on June 10th.
Ghana currently sits in fourth place in Group I with three points, secured from a victory against Madagascar and a defeat to Comoros.
These upcoming matches hold immense importance for the Black Stars as they strive to climb the group standings and maintain their aspirations of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
