Kwesi Appiah must hit the ground running ahead of Egypt cracker - Mohammed Polo

Ghana legend Mohammed has tasked Kwesi Appiah to hit the ground running ahead of the 2014 World Cup playoffs against Egypt. 

The Black Stars will engage the Pharaohs in a two-legged tie in October and November to decide who makes it to the South African country of Brazil next year.

Egypt have a superior advangate on the head-to-head count with the Pharoahs winning ten games as against six of the Ghanaians with four ending in a draw.

The ex-Hearts of Oak great is urging Kwesi Appiah and his backroom staff to get down to work.

“Egypt should not be a stumbling block. The management of the team know what it takes and the head coach should be working very fast because October is just around the corner.” Polo told Citi FM

“It is done and prepared for and we have to be prepared for them.”
