The Arsenal faithful have taken to social media in their numbers on Saturday evening, to provide their respective takes on the performance of Italy’s Gianluca Scamacca against Germany.
For those not aware, hitman Scamacca has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in the Italian media across the last 48 hours.
In fact, some outlets have gone as far as to insist that the Gunners have tabled a big-money proposal for Sassuolo’s powerful no.9, viewing the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for the outgoing Alexandre Lacazette.
The board at the Mapei Stadium, though, have thus far refused to cave to Arsenal’s advances.

Nevertheless, upon word surfacing that Scamacca was in line to lead the line for Italy in the country’s Nations League showdown with Germany on Saturday, it came as little surprise to see Arsenal’s fans make use of the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the talents of their club’s alleged summer target.
And, if the ensuing reaction across social media is anything to go by, then most appear to have been left impressed by what they witnessed.
Across his 85 minutes on the pitch at the Stadio Renato Dell’Ara, Scamacca did enough to spark something of a love-in on the red half of north London, with some having already made up their minds that the towering hitman is the answer to the centre-forward woes in Mikel Arteta’s squad at present.

It’ll come down to the price but Arsenal should seriously consider buying Scamacca.
A physically imposing CF profile is what they ideally need to add a completely different element as well as someone who can bring others into play like Laca used to.
