These are 9 players who have been dropped from the Black Stars’ squad to face the Central African Republic —

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has dropped 9 players from his initial 33-man squad as the Ghana team jetted off to Angola for the 2023 AFCON qualifier against the Central African Republic and the Four-Nation Tournament.

The contingent includes; players, technical team members, and officials who left the Kotoka International Airport for Angola’s capital Luanda on Friday evening for the crucial game on Sunday.

Head coach Otto named a 25-man squad featuring Elisha Owusu, Jonathan Mensah, Kudus Mohammed, and Baba Rahman.

Hearts of Oak defender Dennis Korsah who was handed a late call-up into the team has been left by the selector.

Meanwhile, the trainer dropped 9 players from the final squad for games.
