Liverpool could be a likely destination for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma, according to reports.
The Reds have been linked with the winger for some time now, with a move in the January window touted.
Of course, that did not happen and Liverpool instead opted to sign Luis Diaz from FC Porto, which proved a great bit of business.
However, with Sadio Mane now seemingly set to depart Anfield and Mohamed Salah’s future beyond 2023 uncertain, Jurgen Klopp and co. are expected to be dipping into the transfer market for a forward once again.
And now, according to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Danjuma is looking to leave Villarreal with Liverpool a likely destination.
It has been claimed that should an offer worth £34m come in, Danjuma would leave the Spanish club.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Danjuma in recent weeks. However, barring PSG, neither of those sides can offer Danjuma the Champions League football Liverpool can.
He would also likely get more minutes at Liverpool than PSG – if Mane leaves anyway.

Who is Arnaut Danjuma?
Danjuma is likely most remembered by English football fans for his stint with AFC Bournemouth.
Danjuma joined Bournemouth in 2019 from Club Brugge. The winger was unable to help the Cherries avoid relegation, but would shine for them in the Championship last season.
In 33 league games during 2020/21, he scored 15 and assisted a further seven as Bournemouth narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
However, after missing out on promotion, Bournemouth opted to sell the winger to Unai Emery’s Villareal.
The 24-year-old has since scored 16 and assisted four in 34 outings across all competitions for the Yellow Submarine.
