Revealed: How much Leicester City are demanding for Youri Tielemans this summer

Leicester City are holding out for between 35 and 40 million euros for midfield man Youri Tielemans, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Belgian midfielder has caught the eye of Arsenal, who are pushing hard for his signature this summer, as well as other clubs across Europe. And, there is a belief that he could be got on the cheap, with the player having just 12 months left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium and having refused to sign a new deal with the midlands outfit.

But, despite these hopes, it seems that the Foxes are still holding out for a fee of between 35 and 40 million euros (£29-£34m) for the 24-year-old, though it is unclear whether these terms are hard and fast, or whether they will be willing to cash in for less towards the end of the transfer window.

‘Ruben Neves and Arthur Melo have been two names on the list for some time, two very popular players in the club; the priority as of now goes to Youri Tielemans’, Romano reports.

Where else do Arsenal need to strengthen?

Arsenal are in the market for at least one more striker this summer, with Gabriel Jesus chief among their priorities. They are also looking to strengthen in the full-back areas, with both Bolgona left-back Aaron Hickey and Udinese defender Nahuel Molina having been linked with moves to the Emirates this summer.

A left-sided centre-back is also thought to be on the club’s target list, though further down, while Matt Turner will join the club as the new no.2 when the transfer window opens.

It is set to be yet another very busy summer in north London as Arsenal look to continue their rebuild.
