Kotoko striker Kofi Nti Boakye will start training on Monday ahead of Sunday’s showdown against Hearts.
The 26-year-old escaped a near fatal motor accident with no physical injuries in Ghana’s second largest city, Kumasi two weeks ago.
He has been passed fit to begin training after undergoing a radiological scan of the brain and chest and clinical evaluation at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The ex-Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals arrowman is expected to turn to the field for the first time in two weeks.
Boakye’s return will serve as real boost to the Ghanain champions ahead of the big clash against their sworn rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Boakye is Kotoko leading marksman with six goals this season.
