? OFFICIAL: Man United confirm Pogba will leave the club this summer

Manchester United have confirmed midfielder Paul Pogba will leave the club this summer, upon the expiry of his current contract.

This is the second time the midfielder leaves the club on a free transfer, having done so in 2012 when he joined Juventus.

The academy graduate then returned to Old Trafford in 2016 in what was then a world-record deal.

His second stint with the Manchester club has not gone to plan though, failing to replicate the form that saw him become one of the best midfielders in the world at Juventus.

A statement from the club on Wednesday confirmed the latest development;

“Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career and thank him for his contributions to Manchester United.

“We wish him all the best for the next steps on a remarkable journey.”

The 29-year-old is expected to re-joining Juventus, even though there is interest from other clubs including PSG.

Pogba played 233 times for United and scored 39 goals.
