Dreams FC attacker Ishmael Dede says he and his teammates are focused ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup quarterfinals return fixture against Stade Malien.
The Ghana FA Cup champions secured a massive 2-1 away win over the Malian giants on Sunday and will head into the second leg with the advantage.
The Still Believe lads will host Stade Malien at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 7, 2024, and it presents Dreams FC with a significant advantage as they aim to progress further in the competition.
Speaking ahead of the return leg, Ishmael Dede said his side will not be carried away after triumphing over Stade Malien in Mali.
“We are working so hard because it is not going to be an easy game, it a tough game for us. We will not be carried away by our win at Stade Malien. The win will motivate us to prove to Ghanaians in Kumasi that we are the best and need to go forward in the competition”
“They will be coming on us hard because we’ve beaten them but that won’t derail our aim of reaching the next stage of the competition. We are grateful to the fans for the continues support and we will plead with them to troop to stadium on Sunday to cheer us up because without the fans, I don’t think we can play a good game” he said.
