I am very happy to sign for Sogndal – Ghana forward Edmund Baidoo

Ghana forward Edmund Addo says he is excited to sign for Norwegian club Sogndal from a lower tier side in Ghana on a long term deal.

The club signed the 18-year-old after he passed a period of trial when he impressed the technical handlers.

Speaking to Sogndal after his announcement, Baidoo expressed excitement over the move.

“I am very happy to sign for Sogndal, and this is a great opportunity for me. I think the place is very nice, even though it is very cold here.

“I am enjoying myself in Sogndal so far. I have been well received by the team, and they were very happy for me when I got the contract.”

Baidoo’s transfer to Sogndal marks a significant step in his football career, as his standout performances with Asanska Football Club in Ghana attracted interest from various European clubs.

His journey to Sogndal began with a meeting at Gardermoen and a training stint in Spain, where he impressed the coaching staff with his skills.

Baidoo’s smooth transition into the team and friendly attitude helped secure his position within the squad, highlighting his growing prominence in the football world.
