Published: 2 years ago
Division one

The Black Satellites drew goalless with Congo in their African Games opening game against Congo at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 8,2024.

Ghana put up an impressive performance in the second half after a scoreless first half.

Coach Desmond Ofei’s side’s dominant second half performance almost saw Ghana go up but Aziz Misibau was denied by the cross bar inside 80 minutes.

The result leaves Ghana and Congo with one point each ahead of Benin and The Gambia who will face each other in the second Group A game later on Friday.

Ghana will take on The Gambia in their second group game on Tuesday, March 15,2024 before the final game on March 15,2024.

Two top-placed teams in Group A and B will advance to the semi-final stage of the competition.
