2023/24 Ghana Premier League Week 19: RTU score late to hold Bofoakwa Tano to a 1-1 draw

Real Tamale United (RTU) fought to the end on Monday afternoon to bag a point from their game against Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League.

In the close contest that ensued between the two teams, RTU scored in injury time of the second half to escape a narrow defeat.

RTU today hosted the Week 19 clash of the Ghana Premier League on the back of a heavy 3-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak last weekend.

Despite going into the game determined to secure all three points, the hosts could not start well.

A good showing from Bofoakwa Tano in the first half saw the team scoring through Saaka Dauda in the first half to take the lead.

After recess, RTU showed impressive resilience and fought to avoid the defeat thanks to an equaliser by Musah Alhassan in the 93^rd minute.
