Accra Great Olympics has officially bid farewell to head coach Annor Walker.
The Ghana Premier League side announced the mutual parting of ways through their official social media channels on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
“Not all marriages are meant to last and this is no exception…Thank You Sir Daniel Annor Walker” the club posted.
This decision comes on the heels of the team’s dissatisfaction with the inconsistent performance displayed under Walker’s leadership in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The Accra-based club wished Annor Walker all the best in his future endeavors and also announced that assistant coach Jimmy Corbblah will temporarily manage the team.
The club, currently in the midst of preparations for the second half of the season, deemed it necessary to make this significant change at the coaching helm.
Accra Great Olympics is 12th on the league table with 21 points after 17 games.
