Manchester United bids for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

La Repubblica reports that Manchester United has a bid to Lazio for midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

With the departure of Nemanja Matic, United are in the market for a central midfielder and according to the publication, the player’s agent Mateja Kezman has brought an offer from the Red Devils for the Biancocelesti.

Some members of the Serbian’s entourage were present at Lazio’s recent league game against Verona recently with United said to have offered €55 million to the Italian club for the player.

The club president Claudio Lotito however has set the asking price at 80 million but the reports claim that Kezman could sell the player at around €65 million-70 million due to his good relationship with the club.

Some fresh meetings between the two parties can take place in the next few days, with Milinkovic Savic’s sale considered to be a key part of Lazio’s plan, and apart from United, Juventus are also said to be interested in the player.
