Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala encourages Manchester United Ghanaian youngster Kobbie Mainoo

Bayern Munich sensation Jamal Musiala has taken Manchester United’s Ghanaian prodigy, Kobbie Mainoo, under his wing, offering words of encouragement amid the young midfielder’s rising career.

Despite a setback due to injury in a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid, Mainoo’s recent standout performance against Everton has not only impressed United fans but has also garnered the attention and support of the Bayern star.

Musiala’s advice to the 18-year-old echoes through the corridors of Old Trafford, urging Mainoo to maintain his confidence as he navigates the challenging terrain of professional football.

“I haven’t heard much about him but if he is in the Manchester United squad, he must have lots of quality,” said Musiala ahead of Bayern’s visit to Old Trafford today.

“I think for a young player, it is about just having that confidence in yourself. Especially when you are playing with older people and people who have a bit more experience that you get that trust that you are meant to be where you are right now,” he added.
