In Austria, Mohammed Fuseini spent the game on the sidelines as Sturm Graz suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Rakow of Poland at the Merkur Arena, witnessed by 12,517 spectators.

Mohammed Kudus couldn’t make West Ham United squad as they recorded 1-0 away win over TSC at the TSC Arena in Backa Topola.

In Germany, Daniel Kofi Kyere remained sidelined due to injury, missing out on the action as his team, Freiburg, triumphed with a resounding 5-0 win against Olympiacos at the Europa Park, attended by 34,000 spectators.

Goalkeeper Razak Abalora couldn’t secure a spot in the FC Sheriff Tiraspol squad as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Slavia Prague at the Sheriff stadium in Moldova.

Defender, Eric Boakye missed the action for Aris Limassol in their 1-1 stalemate with Scottish giants Rangers at the Ibrox stadium in Glasgow.
