Legon Cities coach Paa Kwesi Fabin expressed a mix of acknowledgment and frustration in the aftermath of their 3-1 defeat against Asante Kotoko.
Despite praising his team’s performance in the first half, Fabin highlighted a crucial divergence from his second-half instructions, emphasizing the consequences when facing a seasoned team like Kotoko.
“I think we did well in the first half. In the second half, I gave a specific instruction to the players, but they did something different. If you are playing a team like Kotoko who have more experience, you will get punished, and we got punished,” remarked Coach Fabin during an interview with StarTimes.
The defeat against Kotoko saw Legon Cities dropping to the relegation zone, securing the 16th position with 12 points.
The Royals now find themselves in a challenging position as they navigate the season, with the need to regroup and strategize for upcoming fixtures to secure their standing in the league.
