The Albanian Football Federation announces the postponement of all matches as a tribute to the late Ghanaian striker, Raphael Dwamena.

The 28 year old tragically passed away after collapsing during a match for KF Egnatia on Saturday.

In a statement expressing deep shock, condolences, and sympathy to Dwamena’s family and Egnatia club, the Federation reveals that all scheduled matches in Albanian football championships this weekend will be rescheduled.

“The Albanian Football Federation expresses its deep shock for the tragedy that happened today during the match of the 13th week of “Abissnet Superiore”, Egnatia-Partizani.

The AFL expresses its deepest condolences to the Dwamena family and the Egnatia club for this great loss and event that has shocked the entire Albanian football community. The Football Federation informs that all matches scheduled for this weekend in all football championships in Albania will be postponed at a later date”.
