WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations: LOC call on Osaabarima Kwesi Atta II Tuesday

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations Cape Coast 2022 will on Tuesday, May 24, call on Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II – Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional area.

The visit is to seek his wise counsel ahead of the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations and to solicit for his support for a successful hosting of the tournament in Cape Coast.

The Local Organizing Committee is chaired by Executive Council Member Samuel Anim Addo. Other Members include Ama Brobey Williams – Coordinator, Robert Duncan – Member, Simon Ehomah – Member and James Essifie – Member.

Seven countries, namely, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger, Benin, and host Ghana will compete for the title as well as a slot for next year’s Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.

The tournament is scheduled for the Cape Coast stadium from Saturday, June 11 – Friday, June 24, 2022.
