The Black Queens cruised to a 3:0 win over Benin on Friday in the first leg Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier.

A well converted spot Kick from Doris Boaduwaa on the 44th minute was enough to hand the Black Queens maximum points over the Amazons at Stade de L’Amitiè in Cotonou.

Benin goalkeeper Alassane Sowiaratou’s heroics denied the Queens an early goal after Portia Boakye sent in a long drive on the the 3rd minute.

Clotoe Valentine came close to pulling parity on the 68th minute but Cynthia Konlan came to party to deliver a classic save.

Substitute Gifty Assifuah on the 73rd minute capitalized on a defensive blunder to get our second of the evening before adding a third just on the 78th minute.

Yolande Gnanmi tried pulling one back but was ruled offside in the last quarter of the game.

The results mean the Black Queens are still keeping a hundred percent record in the qualifiers.

The reverse fixture will take place on 31st October, at the Accra Sports stadium.
