Ghana U20 fails to acquire VISAS to participate in Youth Tournament in Holland —

Ghana’s U20 side, the Black Satellites, failed to acquire VISAS to participate in the 42nd Deelnemersveld Tournament in the Netherlands,   can exclusively confirm.

can confirm that a list of 30 players together with head coach Samuel Boadu and his technical team were submitted to the Dutch Embassy in Accra for visas to travel to the Northwestern European nation for the tournament.

Reports from Holland indicates that SC Heerenveen‘s U20 side have replaced the Satellites who have been camping in Prampram, Greater Accra, for the past 2 months.

Ghana failed to qualify for the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.

The West African powerhouse won the 2009 edition of the FIFA World Cup which was hosted on the soils of the continent in Egypt.

Ghana has recently underperformed in youth competitions with the U17 and U20 national teams failing to qualify to major tournaments in Africa and the world.

Ghana was the only national team who were supposed to take part in the competition. The rest were Dutch clubs which includes Vitesse Arhem, BK Odense, PSV Eindhoven, Palmeiras, De Graafschap, and others.
