Ghana’s Alidu Seidu made a successful return to Clermont Foot’s starting lineup after serving a two-game suspension.
The Black Stars defender played the full 90 minutes in his team’s 1-1 draw against Auxerre on Sunday.
Seidu had missed the team’s previous matches against Nice and Stade Reims due to a red card he received during the game against Angers on February 16.
During Sunday’s game, Auxerre took the lead in the 36th minute with a goal from Souleymane Touré, but Clermont Foot equalized in the second half through Saif-Eddine Khaoui to salvage a point.
Seidu has been a regular member of the Clermont Foot team this season, making 23 appearances in total. His return will be a boost for the team as they aim to finish the campaign on a high note.
