Alhaji Grusah narrowly escapes death in Kumasi-Tamale road accident

Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah, the President of King Faisal Babies Football Club, narrowly escaped death in a an accident on the Kumasi-Tamale road.

The incident occurred shortly after he returned from the Tamale City-King Faisal game with the Operations Manager of the club, Nana Amankwah, and an unidentified driver.

According to reports, Grusah’s SUV collided with a parked vehicle a few minutes away from Kintampo. Fortunately, all three occupants survived the accident.

“we were saved by Allah,” Grusah said in an interview with Footballmadeinghana.com.gh

The Black Stars management committee memeber revealed that he had initially planned to spend the night in Tamale due to attending a funeral, but a 4-0 defeat in the game prompted him to leave early with the team. It was during their journey back to Kumasi that the accident occurred.

The trio received medical attention at Techiman Hospital and were later discharged. Grusah stated that they are now recuperating at home and plan to return to the hospital the following day for a check-up.
