Dutch legend Frank De Boer has expressed his belief that Mohammed Kudus would make a great addition to Arsenal.
The Ghanaian international has been linked to a move to the Emirates stadium as well several top European clubs after impressing with his performances at the World Cup in Qatar and in the Dutch Eredivisie.
De Boer, who is a fan of Kudus, has stated that his skillset would be a valuable addition to Mikel Arteta’s side.
He also believes that the injury concerns of Arsenal could have been minimized if Kudus and Mount were available options.
De Boer said, “They are both top players. They would be good acquisitions, certainly for the width.” He emphasized the importance of having a deep squad, given the demands of competing in the Premier League, Champions League, and cup competitions.
Kudus had an impressive run at the World Cup, scoring two goals and providing an assist despite Ghana’s early elimination from the tournament. He also recorded 18 goals and five assists during in all competition for Ajax this season.
De Boer’s comments suggest that Kudus could potentially be a valuable asset to Arsenal’s squad, especially given his versatile skillset and ability to play in multiple positions. However, it remains to be seen if Arsenal will pursue a transfer for Kudus or if he will choose to move to another club.
