The Black Galaxies of Ghana’s final test match for the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) against Mozambique has been confirmed for Stade du 5 Juillet, 1962 in Argilles, Algeria.
The magnificent 85,000-capacity facility is home to local clubs USM Alger and MC Alger.
Kickoff is at 15:30 GMT.
Coach Annor Walker’s men have enjoyed three preparatory games since leaving Ghana on Christmas Eve. They beat Egypt’s U-20s 2-0 and Al Ahly 3-1 during a training camp in Cairo.
Last Saturday, the team was engaged in a 0-0 draw with hosts Algeria.

On the other hand, Mozambique – who arrived in Algeria for the CHAN on December 30 – lost 3-1 to MC Algers at the match venue last Saturday., January 7. The Mambas engaged Paradou AC in a training match on Monday and won 4-0.
CHAN 2022 kicks off Friday, January 13. Ghana are in Group C with Madagascar, Sudan and Morocco. The Mozambicans find themselves in Group A with Algeria, Libya and Ethiopia.
