German-born Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer is likely to leave Darmstadt at the end of the 2022/23 football season according to reports in Germany.
SV Darmstadt 98 have repeated their refusal to sell the player in the winter. And, given Pfeiffer’s context, nothing further is expected to happen till the summer transfer window opens.
According to the player’s representative, the club is sticking to its stand and accepting it. Pfeiffer’s Darmstadt contract expires at the end of the season.
His strong performance for SV Darmstadt 98 this season has attracted a lot of clubs in Europe. He has made 15 appearances and scored four goals in the Bundesliga 2 this season.
Patric Pfeiffer joined SV Darmstadt 98 from Hamburger SV in the summer of 2019.
In July 2022, the president of the Ghana FA, Kurt Okraku, announced that Patric Pfeiffer was one of the few players that had officially switched allegiances to represent the Ghanaian senior national team internationally.
