Bibiani Gold Stars have secured a vital point on the road after holding Berekum Chelsea to a goalless draw in the Ghana Premier League matchday 10 contest.
The team from Bibiani this weekend travelled to Berekum to take on the matchday opponent in a game staged at the Golden City Park.
In a game that was evenly matched, both teams put up a good performance in the early parts of the first half.
Unfortunately, neither side could get on the score sheet and had to settle for a draw at the end of the first 45 minutes.
While the two teams would up their game in the second half, the attackers were not sharp enough.
The lack of goals in the 90 minutes meant that the scoreline remained barren at the end of the tough contest.
The result leaves Berekum Chelsea in the 9th position of the Ghana Premier League with Bibiani Gold Stars climbing to third.
