Robert Lewandowski’s reaction to his first World Cup goal

Deliverance for Robert Lewandowski. The 34-year-old FC Barcelona striker scored everywhere he went and in all competitions, but not in the final phase of the World Cup, it is now done. After missing a penalty against Mexico, he recovered well yesterday against Saudi Arabia (2-0), author of the opener for Poland.

“It’s a dream come true to score a goal in the World Cup. I was expecting it, even before scoring and I thought it was going to happen today. It’s a very important goal and we are proud of this victory, of these three points. We must now be focused on the next game (against Argentina)”said the star, in the mixed zone, after the meeting.
