2022 World Cup: Let’s pray for Black Stars to deliver – Asamoah Gyan

All-time leading scorer for Ghana, Asamoah Gyan, has called on his countrymen to rally behind the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.

The announcement of coach Otto Addo’s final squad for the tournament which begins in four days has been the subject of several commentaries.

And Gyan has admonished that it is time to put an end to opposing viewpoints.

“Everyone has shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. The 26-man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now.

“If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for now, let’s pray for the team to deliver,” he posted on Twitter.

Ghana will play Portugal on November 24 as their opening game of the tournament before taking on South Korea and Uruguay in the last game in Group H subsequently.
