Ghanaian defender Derrick Kohn was on target for Willem II in their 1-1 draw against Cambuur to keep their survival hopes alive in the Eredivisie.
The 23-year-old put up an impressive display to help his side secure a vital point at the Cambuur Stadion on Wednesday.
The draw leaves Willem II still in the relegation zone with 30 points, two points adrift safely with one match left to play this season.
Cambuur took the lead through Sekou Sylla’s strike in the 43rd minute of the game but Kohn bagged the equalised, 10 minutes after the recess.
The visitors held on as both teams shared the spoils.
A win for the Super Pitchers against Utrecht in their final game of the season could keep them in the league if Fortuna Sittard and Sparta Rotterdam all lose their respective matches.
Kohn, who joined Willem II from Bayern Munich 2020 has been one of the consistent players so far this season.
He made 31 appearances across all competitions for his side, scored one goal and provided one assist in the process.
