2022 World Cup: Defender Patrick Kpozo gets first Black Stars call-up

Sheriff Tiraspol Defender Patrick Kpozo has been named in Ghana’s 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Kpozo earned a place in coach Otto Addo’s list released on Friday following his impressive performances in the Moldovan top-flight.

He will be hoping to make the final twenty-six man list which will be announced on November 10, 2022.

Ghana is set to make her fourth ever appearance at the global showpiece in Qatar.

The Black Stars are in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
