After winning two home games in the 2021-22 season (post-April), City bagged six consecutive victories at the Etihad in the 2022-23 season. City have been in sensational form this season as well, winning both their Group G games in their backyard thus far. They beat Red Star Belgrade 3-1 in September before securing a 3-0 win over Young Boys in November.
