The Black Queens have kicked off their preparations for the Pink Ladies Cup in Dubai, UAE, with an intense training session.
The team, led by coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren, completed their first training session as they gear up for the tournament, which serves as a crucial warm-up for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Black Queens will face Hong Kong, Russia, and Tanzania in the Pink Ladies Cup, scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 6, 2026.
Coach Bjorkegren has named a 26-player squad, featuring a mix of experienced players and young talents, including Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Jennifer Cudjoe, and Alexandra Tay.
The team’s participation in the Pink Ladies Cup is expected to provide valuable international exposure and help fine-tune tactics ahead of WAFCON.
