The Black Stars secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago to finish third in the 2025 Unity Cup.

It didn’t take long for Ghana to open the scoring after dominating possession and creating few opportunities in the early stages of the game.

Caption Jordan Ayew struck with a left-footed effort for his 31st goal for the country and give Ghana a sixth minute lead.

Razak Simpson headed five minutes later to put Ghana in a comfortable situation before Mohammed Fuseini put Otto Addo’s side in the driving seat on the stroke of halftime.

Lawrence Agyekum produced a low drive on the hour mark to make it 4-0 for Ghana to put the icing on the cake.

Christopher Bonsu, Caleb Yirenkyi and Brandon Thomas-Asante all came close to adding to the tally but could not find the back of the net.

Ghana will now turn their attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September for the back to back matches against Chad and Mali.
