Three renowned Black Stars players, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams and Thomas Partey are in the running for the 2025 Ghana Footballer of the Year award.
The aforementioned stars enjoyed remarkable seasons collectively and individually at their respective clubs.
For Semenyo, his club, Bournemouth, finished the season with 56 points, the most they’ve ever accumulated in a Premier League campaign whilst the Ghanaian forward’s 11 Premier League goals marked the most he’s scored in a single campaign.
Meanwhile, Thomas Partey was part of the Arsenal team, who were hair’s breadth from making a first ever Champions League final appearance since 2006.
The Gunners were eliminated from the semi-finals after suffering defeat to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.
In the Premier League, Arsenal finished second to Liverpool, 10 points behind the leaaders, with Partey scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Elsewhere in Spain, Inaki Williams will be playing in his first-ever Champions League campaign next season after steering Athletic Club to qualification – a first appearance in 10 years.
One of the trio will be looking to dethrone Mohammed Kudus, who is the holder of the award.
