Ivory Coast, defending champions of the AFCON, have arrived in Morocco to compete in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Led by coach Emerse Fae, the team is looking to make history by becoming the first team to retain the title since Egypt’s three-peat.
The squad features experienced players like Wilfried Zaha, Franck Kessie, and Ibrahim Sangare, but faces a major blow with the absence of star striker Sebastien Haller due to injury.
Ivory Coast is in Group F, alongside Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique, and will kick off their title defense against Mozambique on December 24.
