Doris Boaduwaa is set to return to the Black Queens lineup after serving a suspension in Ghana’s match against Tanzania.
Boaduwaa picked up two yellow cards in Ghana’s first two group games against South Africa and Mali.
Boduwaa is set to return against Algeria in the WAFCON quarterfinals today at 5 pm local time at the Berkane Stadium.
Boaduwaa’s return will boost Ghana’s attack, and coach Kim Lars Björkgren will rely on her skills to break down Algeria’s solid defense.
Algeria, yet to concede a goal in the competition, will be a tough opponent, but Ghana is determined to progress to the semifinals.
The Black Queens have had mixed results in their past encounters with Algeria, winning two out of four matches.
