2023 Africa Cup of Nations: Be ready for goals – Antoine Semenyo promises Ghanaians

Ghana striker, Antoine Semenyo is all fired up ahead of the start of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The 34^th edition of the continental tournament will kick off in Ivory Coast on Saturday, January 13.

Speaking to the media team of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) ahead of the start of the tournament, Antoine Semenyo promised Ghanaians that there would be more goals for them to enjoy.

“Be patient, be ready for success, and enjoyment, goals, and celebration when we win,” striker Antoine Semenyo said in a video shared on the official page of the Black Stars.

The Black Stars are already in Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON and have been training in Abidjan since Wednesday.

The national team will train today and tomorrow before the game against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14.
