2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 19 Match Report – Samartex 0-1 Nations FC

In a highly competitive clash on Monday, Ghana Premier League leaders Samartex locked horns with Nations FC.

The game was initially scheduled to take place on Sunday but officials of the match were forced to postponed the match due to torrential rains in Sameraboi.

Today, Samartex and Nations FC battled it out for maximum points at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

The Timber giants failed to make their home advantage count after succumbing to a narrow defeat to Nations FC.

Nations FC broke the deadlock before the halftime break through Nafiu Sulemana, who fired home the opening goal in the 42nd minute mark.

With no additional goal, the visitors cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points in the game.

Despite the defeat, Samartex are still on top of the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points whiles Nations FC remains fourth on the table with 30 points.
