2022 World Cup: Alexander Djiku reacts to Ghana’s group stage exit

Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku has reacted following their group stage exit at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana exited the competition after a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in their final Group game on Friday.

The West African country picked up a win and suffered two defeats to finish bottom of Group H.

“It’s a huge disappointment but if u knew how grateful we are to have been supported by you our Ghanaian fans. We would have liked to continue the adventure but we have never been more proud to wear the colors of Ghana ??

It was a dream to play a World Cup for my country ❤️“ the Strasbourg defender wrote on Twitter.
