Real Tamale United (RTU) beat Accra Lions 3-1 on Thursday in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) match. The game was played at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
This win means that the home team has now won four games in a row and the visitors have lost three games in a row.
RTU is now in sixth place with 18 points. They are only one point behind Accra Lions, who are in fifth place.
In the game, RTU scored first 20 minutes in with a goal from Issah Kuka. Accra Lions tied the game 13 minutes later with a goal from Samari Salifu.
But RTU regained the lead before halftime with a goal from Abdullai Mohammed. And in the second half, RTU scored again to make it 3-1 with a goal from Sadat Mohammed. The game ended with RTU winning 3-1.
