The battle now remains between the Gunners and their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Conte’s side sit fourth on 68 points, one ahead of the Gunners who find themselves fifth despite improved performances in recent weeks.
A win for Spurs, away at Norwich, will confirm their Champions League status, while a loss or draw, coupled with an Arsenal victory at home to Everton will seem them miss out.
Manchester United and West Ham, who sit sixth and seventh respectively, have confirmed their participation in Europe next season.
Relegation battle
Everton confirmed their Premier League survival for next season following a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against Crystal Palace on Thursday night.
The Toffees are now four points clear of 18th-placed Leeds United ahead of the last match.
As it stands, the battle for survival is between Burnely, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa, and the West Yorkshire club.
The Clarets have a superior goal difference compared to the West Yorkshire side ahead of the season finale.
Leeds travel to Brentford for their final game, while Burnley host Newcastle United.
