Manchester City have released the shortlist for the Etihad Player of the Season award.
Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez will be competing for the award this campaign.
De Bruyne has enjoyed another stellar campaign and has proved a key component in City’s push to try and secure what would be a fourth Premier League title in five seasons.
Ahead of the final game of the season at home to Aston Villa on Sunday, De Bruyne has accrued 19 goals across all competitions, including 15 in the league as well as providing 13 assists all told – his highest individual goal tally since joining City in the summer of 2015.
Should De Bruyne prevail, it would also be his fourth Player of the Year award, an achievement which would see him equal Richard Dunne’s current Club record.
