?Lewandowski: My era at Bayern is over

Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is set to leave the club this summer.

The Polish striker, in an interview on Monday, insisted his time at the club is over, yet again indicating he won’t be extending his current contract.

“My era at Bayern is over. I don’t see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore,” he said.

Adding: “Bayern’s a serious club and I believe they won’t keep me, I don’t want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they don’t stop me”.

This comes despite club’s executive director, Oliver Khan, insisting the striker has a year left on his contract, and he will honour it.

“It’s not something that causes us a headache. We made an offer to his agent. He rejected this offer”, he said in a recent interview.

Adding: “The fact is: Lewa has a contract and he will fulfill it. Stop, basta!”, Kahn added.

Lewandowski has heavily been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona, with reports indicating he has agreed personal terms with Xavi’s outfit.
