Arsenal appear to have received a huge lift about Thomas Partey’s thigh injury, following the player’s Instagram update.
The 28-year-old suffered the muscle injury in the dying minutes of Arsenal’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace on April 4, and has since missed the Gunners’ past four Premier League games.
Mikel Arteta said earlier this month that he was “not overconfident” about the midfielder’s chances of returning to the starting lineup this season.
However, Partey delivered a good update for Gunners supporters on Monday when he shared a video of himself running on a treadmill on his Instagram account.
When fit for Arteta’s side this season, the Ghana international has contributed two goals and one assist in 24 appearances across all competitions.
Arsenal, who are presently fourth in the Premier League table, have five matches remaining this season, with their next meeting away to London rivals West Ham United scheduled for Sunday.
